学校毗邻浦东国际机场、大飞机总装基地、上海国际旅游度假区、上海自由贸易试验区。学校是国家级重点中等职业学校（中专）、上海市中等职业教育改革发展特色示范校、上海市文明校园、上海市中小学行为规范示范校、上海市职业指导与就业服务工作先进集体。现任党总支书记兼校长王凤娟。

学校现有近2000名学生，170名教职员工。学校坚持“秉承服务、逐梦深蓝、开启星程”的办学思路，紧紧抓住民航业发展和上海航空枢纽港建设的契机，形成了航空服务（空中乘务、空港服务、民航安检）、民航运输（货运）、航空机电技术应用等三大专业群，其中航空服务专业被列为上海市中职校示范性品牌专业，学校独立承担了上海市“国际水平的职业教育航空服务专业教学标准”的开发。在政府和航空企业的大力支持下，学校建有全国首家上海市航空服务开放实训中心、中国商飞高技能人才培养实训基地、吴尔愉服务法培育基地。学校有专业的课程、专业的师资、专业的设施、专业的教材、专业的合作。既能保证专业教学的需要，同时又能满足社会培训和航空企业员工培训的需求。学生综合素质好、业务能力强，深受用人单位的欢迎。

目前，学校已成为一所专注于培养航空“深蓝领”人才的特色学校，在实训中心建设、专业教学标准开发、教材建设、高素质技能人才培养模式创新、师资队伍建设等方面形成了学校独特的优势。

Shanghai Aviation Service School is adjacent to Pudong International Airport, the Assembly Base of the Commercial Aircraft, Shanghai International Tourism Resort, and Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. Our school is a National Key Vocational School (technical secondary school), as well as a model of Secondary Vocational Education Reform and Development Demonstration School, a Civilized Campus in Shanghai, a Model School of Behavior of the primary and secondary schools, and an Advanced Group of Career Guidance and Employment Service in Shanghai. The current school Principal and school Secretary of CPC General Branch is Mrs. Wang Fengjuan.

There are nearly 2,000 students and 170 faculty members in our school. Strongly adhering to our Educational Ideology, inheriting the spirit to serve, learning professional skills and starting the star journey, and tightly seizing the opportunity along with the development of the civil aviation industry and construction of Shanghai aviation hub port, we have formed three majors such as aviation service (cabin service, airport service, security check), aviation transportation and aviation electromechanical technology application, among which aviation service has been listed as the model of the Brand Major to the other vocational schools. We have independently undertaken the development of the international level designed curriculum criterion on aviation service. With the strong support of the government and aviation enterprises, our school has been equipped with the Shanghai Aviation Service Open Training Center which is the first one in our country, the practical training base of the highly skilled personnel for Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), and the personnel cultivation base of Wu Eryu Service Approach. With professional curriculums, teaching teams, facilities, teaching materials and cooperation, our school can meet the requirements of professional teaching activities, social training and aviation enterprise staff training. Consequently, our students are popular with employers for their comprehensive qualities and strong professional abilities. 

At present, our school has become a specialist school focusing on training ‘blue-collar’ personnel with professional technical skills, and has formed unique advantages in the construction of the training centers, the development of professional teaching standards, the construction of teaching materials, the innovation in the mode of training high-quality skilled personnel, and the construction of the teaching team, etc.
